Boolean is built for local-first work. Standard local chats, notes, browser state, settings, and model files stay on your Windows PC.

If you choose cloud features, sign in, buy tokens, or add a provider key, the information needed to provide that service may be sent to the selected provider. Provider keys are intended to stay on your computer unless you explicitly use a hosted Boolean service.
